Catherine Mohr

Dr. Catherine Mohr is a surgeon, engineer, and technology leader, and President of the Intuitive Foundation, the foundation of Intuitive Surgical. She directs research and development programs focused on understanding and improving medical-practitioner education worldwide. Her work has spanned surgery, medical technology, product design, energy, aerospace, entrepreneurship, and FDA compliance. Trained in mechanical engineering at MIT and medicine at Stanford, she brings a clinician’s perspective to the design and evaluation of consequential technologies.
